Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Algorithms Developer / Software Engineer – Level 2 or 3 in Boulder, CO to design and implement software and mathematical algorithms that identify threats. You will build in C++20 and Python, write documentation, and work in a fast-paced, high-expectation team environment.

The role requires a STEM degree with 2–5 years of related experience and a current U.S. Secret clearance with potential for Top Secret.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university.
• 2+ years related experience for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3 (with options for Master’s/PhD).
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software and mathematical algorithms.
• Produce technical documentation for ongoing work.
• Perform analysis tool development and contribute to software engineering tasks.
