Job summary

NC State University’s Agricultural Leadership Development Program seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee ALDP operations and events. You will plan statewide sessions, coordinate travel, and manage logistics for domestic and international study tours and policy visits in Washington, DC.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant experience, with strong communication and organizational skills. This is a 0.75 FTE, 30-hour workweek with occasional weekend events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience related to the area of assignment.
• All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning of ALDP activities, including statewide sessions, distance learning intersessions, study tours, and DC policy visits.
• Coordinate travel and event logistics by negotiating and managing vendor contracts, lodging, transportation, and reimbursements.
