Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to communicate ideas and directives clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
• Effective, active listening skills.
• Organizational and problem solving skills.
• Bachelor's Degree or valid teaching license or substitute teacher license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety of students.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and forms.
• Interact positively with staff, students and parents.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
• Assist with restroom breaks, lunch, and recess.
• Supervise students during arrival and dismissal.
• Monitor and supervise students in ALC.
• Communicate with classroom teachers on lesson assignments.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork.
