Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college/university.
• Master's Degree in Special Education preferred.
• Certification/License: Comprehensive Special Education (K-5) 065/165.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and diagnostic examinations to identify learning needs and guide interventions.
• Participate in PPTs and help develop Individual Educational Plans (IEPs).
• Assist students and staff in implementing IEPs and behavior management plans.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and authorities as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between home and school and support parental involvement.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation for prospective colleges and employers.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay current with educational practices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in education
