Job summary

TDX Power, LLC in Anchorage seeks a Journeyman Lineman – Remote Operations to support safe, reliable operation and maintenance of distribution systems at remote Alaska locations. Home base is Anchorage for admin and travel; field work occurs at remote sites with planned rotations.

Travel to operating locations, respond to outages, perform inspections, maintenance and project support; must work independently in remote environments with strong safety focus and ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Alaska Journeyman Lineman Certificate of Fitness required or ability to obtain.
• Journeyman-level experience constructing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing distribution systems.
• CDL required or ability to obtain within timeframe.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Willingness to travel to remote Alaska locations and work extended rotations.
• Ability to work independently at remote locations with limited onsite support.
• Experience in remote Alaska or isolated environments preferred.
• Qualified to operate bucket trucks, forklifts, loaders, and other equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel power generation and safety certifications (HAZWOPER preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and satisfy background checks.

Responsibilities

• Travel to remote locations on a planned rotation for inspections and maintenance.
• Respond to outages and emergencies at remote sites; travel outside rotation when needed.
• Maintain and repair overhead and underground distribution systems and equipment.
• Climb poles/structures and operate bucket trucks with safety procedures.
• Inspect assets, document findings, and address deficiencies.
• Support preventive maintenance and multi-year inspection programs.
• Assist with scope development, materials, and project planning.
• Provide technical guidance and training to local operations.
