Job summary

Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX) is seeking an Electrical Lineman for the Adak, AK area to operate and maintain power distribution systems, both underground and overhead. The role involves installation, repairs, emergency response, and customer service duties in challenging Alaskan conditions.

Qualified candidates will have a Journeyman license, CDL, ability to read electrical drawings, and experience with diesel power maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years in underground and overhead utility lineman duties.
Journeyman Lineman license (Alaska) or Electricians license
CDL license required
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Ability to climb in overhead structures and work in tight spaces
Experience in diesel power maintenance and equipment maintenance
Hazwoper certification
US citizenship or permanent status; security clearance may be required
Ability to operate heavy equipment and bucket truck
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and emergencies

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain distribution systems including overhead and underground components.
Perform installation, removal, maintenance, repair and operation of equipment.
Climb poles and perform repairs following safety procedures.
Design and construct new services or distribution projects.
Perform meter bases wiring and customer service maintenance.
Operate heavy equipment and bucket truck for repairs.
Document changes and provide recommendations for upgrades and repairs.
