Job summary

TDX Power, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman - Remote Operations based in Anchorage to travel across Alaska maintaining and repairing electrical distribution systems. You will inspect assets, perform preventive maintenance, and support capital projects while operating in remote locations and adhering to safety standards.

The role requires journeyman-level experience, Alaska licensing, CDL, and the ability to work outdoors in challenging conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Alaska Journeyman Lineman Certificate of Fitness required or ability to obtain.
• Journeyman-level experience with overhead/underground distribution systems.
• CDL required or ability to obtain.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Willingness to travel across Alaska and work extended rotations.
• Operate bucket trucks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Hazard awareness and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and work at remote Alaska locations on a planned rotational schedule.
• Respond to outages and emergencies, including travel outside the regular rotation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and construct distribution systems and equipment.
• Climb poles and use bucket trucks for line work with proper safety practices.
• Conduct inspections and document deficiencies based on safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance and participate in multi-year inspection programs.
• Support vegetation management and system upgrades.
• Prepare scopes of work and material requirements for distribution projects.
