Job summary

Americans for Prosperity (AFP), part of the Stand Together philanthropic community, seeks a Regional Field Manager to identify, recruit, and engage grassroots leaders across Alaska, mobilize them to take action, and drive policy reforms that open opportunities for all.

This role can be based in the Anchorage area and involves organizing events, training volunteers, supervising canvassing contractors, and maintaining regular contact to educate, motivate, and coordinate efforts with AFP priority

Qualifications

• Passion for people and ability to build relationships across diverse communities.
• Knowledge of state and federal public policy landscapes.
• Self-motivation and goal-oriented work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple events and activities.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with AFP staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Identify activists across Alaska and motivate them to advocate for change.
• Equip local leaders with AFP resources and training to advocate align with AFP principles.
• Organize events and outreach to engage the public, including phone, social media, and in-person activities.
• Maintain regular contact with activists to keep them educated, motivated, and active.
