Job summary

An Alaskan wilderness retreat is seeking a Lodge Manager to oversee lodge operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will manage facilities, lead outdoor tours, and maintain a welcoming environment. Candidates should have strong communication skills, backcountry experience, and be prepared to work in diverse weather conditions. This full-time role offers paid time off and a seasonal bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Clean driving record and able to pass background check.
• Able to lift 60 lbs frequently.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• First Aid and CPR preferred.
• Demonstrated backcountry/outdoor experience.
• Guiding or leadership experience preferred.
• ATV/Snowmachine skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management services at Snowhook Lodge.
• Ensure the well-being of guests and lodge operations.
• Lead tours showcasing Alaska’s natural beauty.
• Maintain a safe, functional, and inviting environment.
