Job summary

Ouzinkie invites applications for a Lodge General Assistant / Front of House at a remote wilderness lodge near Kodiak. This seasonal, full-time, live-in role supports the Lodge Managers with daily operations, housekeeping, and guest services for a small guest count.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, and flexible, greeting guests, assisting with luggage, rooms, and creating a warm, high-end guest experience in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Two years in hospitality, housekeeping, luxury lodge, front desk, or guest-services.
• Current Alaska TAP certification or ability to obtain before start.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lodge Managers with daily operations and special projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and guest room duties for up to 12 guests.
• Manage daily laundry including linens and towels, keep area tidy.
• Greet guests on arrival, assist with luggage, and orient rooms.
• Maintain front-of-house presence and interact with guests throughout stays.
• Support bar service and food service as directed by management.
• Assist with lodge store inventory, gear orders, and operations.
• Fill in across lodge operations as daily needs change.
