Zusammenfassung

The University of Alaska is seeking a Contract Specialist for the Alaska APEX Accelerator Program based in Fairbanks. You will provide one-on-one technical assistance to businesses navigating federal, state, and local contracting, including registrations, opportunity identification, and proposal preparation.

You will help with certifications (8(a), HUBZone, DBE), deliver trainings and webinars, and support outreach to rural communities. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of college coursework and three years of progressively responsible experience in acquisition, or an equivalent mix.
• Experience with government contracting and familiar with FAR regulations.
• Ability to register clients in procurement systems and track progress.

• Provide one-on-one technical assistance to businesses navigating federal, state, and local contracting.
• Help clients register in procurement systems, identify bidding opportunities, interpret solicitations, and prepare proposals.
• Maintain compliance with contracting regulations such as the FAR and support certifications (8(a), HUBZone, DBE).
• Deliver procurement trainings and webinars and assist with outreach to rural and underserved communities.
• Engage in partnership development, internal program support, and stay current on evolving contracting policies.
