Job summary

This role involves lead advisory duties, developing business plans, market research, financial analysis, and coordinating with the SBDC/APEX network to promote economic development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Human Resources, Contracting, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–9 years of full-time verifiable and relevant professional work experience in a small business, including business administration, management, business development, and government accounting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Google email and calendar/computer keyboard data entry experience is required.
• Must have a professional disposition and poise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized advising to nascent and experienced entrepreneurs on government contracting topics.
• Develop strategic business development plans with clients.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and monitor portfolio performance.
• Provide guidance on government accounting and HR nuances.
• Lead and mentor staff and interns; manage program projects and activities.
• Maintain client contact records in the NeoSerra Online System.
• Deliver client training and presentations, in-person and virtual.
