Job summary

The State of Alaska DOT&PF in Healy, AK is hiring Equipment Operator Journey 1/2. The base salary is $31.85 per hour for Journey 1 and $33.71 per hour for Journey 2, OT eligible.

Qualifications

• CDL is required at time of hire.
• TWIC credential required.
• Endorsements such as Air Brake, Tanker, Hazardous Materials may be required (preferred).
• First Aid/CPR and Flagger certification are preferred.
• Ability to work in shifts at multiple locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy and light equipment.
• Maintain roads, signs, bridges, culverts, drainage structures, and related assets.
• Perform traffic control and flagging duties as needed.
• Work across a variety of maintenance activities including potential shift work.
