Job summary

The State of Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities in Anchorage is seeking two Equipment Operator, Journey 1 positions to maintain highways year-round. You will operate and service heavy equipment, perform vegetation and road maintenance, and handle snow and ice removal while supporting the Anchorage district.

A valid Class A Alaska CDL with N-Tanker endorsement due within 90 days is required. Applicants may be asked for references and CDL documentation as part of the process.

• Maintain vegetation, signs, barriers, fences, bridges, culverts, drainage structures and road surfaces within Right-of-Way.
• Perform snow and ice removal with plow/sanders and graders; follow traffic control duties.
