Job summary

GCI Communication Corp is seeking a Construction Manager II to lead multiple projects from concept to construction in Alaska. You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and contractor coordination, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires travel to remote sites, knowledge of codes, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools. A BS in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, management, business, telecommunications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent projects from conceptual development through construction.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules (Gantt/PERT).
• Define scope of work (SOW) and bill of materials (BOM) and procure materials.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and property owners; travel to sites for reviews.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
