GCI's Construction Manager II is responsible for leading multiple concurrent projects from conceptual development through final construction, following project management methodology.

He/she supports the Construction and Implementation team within the Technology Solutions department, coordinating materials, equipment, teams, and contractors to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery. This role requires site visits across Alaska and strong communication skills.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, management, business, telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum of four years professional construction management, project management, and/or engineering experience to include developing project budgets and schedules.
• New Hires: NCTI Course – “Managing Real World Projects” enrollment within 90 days and course completion within 6 months of hire.
• Internal Promotion from Construction Manager I to Construction Manager II: NCTI Course – “Managing Real World Projects” completed.

Responsabilidades

• Lead multiple concurrent projects from conceptual development through final construction.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, teams, and manage contractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules (Gantt/PERT) and define scope of work (SOW) & BOM; oversee procurement and delivery.
• Attend coordination and progress meetings and perform site visits (bid walks, preconstruction, in-progress, punch walks, closeout).
