Job summary

GCI Communication Corp in Alaska seeks a Construction Manager II to lead multiple concurrent projects from development through final construction, applying standard project management practices. You will coordinate budgets, schedules, vendors, and on-site teams to keep projects on time and within cost.

Responsibilities include coordinating with consultants and contractors, managing procurement, tracking BOMs, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, management, or related field required.
• Minimum four years professional construction/pm experience.
• CCM or PMP certification preferred.
• Experience with budgets and schedules.
• Able to travel to Alaska sites.

Responsibilities

• Contract and oversee consultants and contractors; coordinate with agencies and owners.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules (Gantt/PERT).
• Define scope of work and BOM; procure materials and equipment.
• Manage delivery of power and backhaul.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Lead and coordinate with customers, utilities, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and regulations for wireless facilities.
• Manage project scheduling, finances, and cost control.
