Patriot Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking a motivated administrator to support the Alarms team in Tacoma, WA. The role focuses on coordinating schedules, permits, and documentation while serving as the hub between technicians, designers, customers, and authorities having jurisdiction.

It’s a launchpad for growth into Alarm Design or Project/Program Management, with clear career paths and NICET certification prep support. A strong attention to detail and collaboration are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years in admin, coordination, or fire alarm fieldwork.
• Technical skills: Microsoft Excel and Google Suite proficiency.
• Attention to detail with repetitive, compliance-driven tasks.
• Process-driven with standardized processes and follow-up.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong plus: Washington 06 Limited Energy Electrician license or fire alarm experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate alarm technicians and inspections.
• Prepare, submit, and track fire alarm permits; schedule inspections with AHJs.
• Support back-office operations: answer phones, draft communications, prepare work orders, assemble closeout packages.
• Serve as liaison among field personnel, designers, customers, contractors, and agencies.
• Build and manage reports/tracking for alarm installation, testing, and monitoring.
• Develop proficiency in Google Drive and Viewpoint/Spectrum; help the team use these tools effectively.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to improve processes and growth.
