Job summary

Brinks Home in Maryland is seeking an Alarm Service Technician to install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites. You will troubleshoot systems, train customers, and ensure solutions meet expectations. This is a hands-on field role requiring safety and mobility.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and relevant low-voltage certification. NICET I is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I certification.
• Experience with alarm panels is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage alarm equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot alarm systems and replace components as needed.
• Provide customer education and system demonstrations.
• Travel to customer homes and maintain safety and organization.
• Evaluate sites to ensure the system meets needs.
