Responsibilities:

1. Install and service burglar alarms, fire alarms, camera systems, access control, and intercom systems.
2. Provide excellent customer service and support.
3. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality installations and service.

Requirements:

• Must possess a State of Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or have the proper background to obtain one.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with subscribers and office staff.
• Willingness to adhere to all Illinois Alarm installation and employment policies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the low voltage industry.
• Proven expertise in installing and servicing burglar alarms, fire alarms, and camera systems.
• Proficiency with computers and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of Electrical Code, NFPA 72 & 101, International Building Code, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with a Volt Meter.
• Ability to drive in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift packages and equipment from 5 lbs. to 50 lbs.
• Availability to perform On Call Service (after hours, weekends, holidays) upon request.
• NICET Level 1 certification; if not certified, must obtain within 18 months of hire.
