Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Security Control Center Analyst to monitor systems globally, coordinate with police, fire, EMS, and guards, and ensure safety of customers and assets. The role demands attention to detail, calm under pressure, and strong communication.

Responsibilities include alarm monitoring, incident response, and utilization of various software; shifts vary (days, swing, overnight) and overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically less than one year of applicable experience.
• Security/law enforcement and/or military background preferred.
• Central alarm monitoring/dispatch center experience preferred.
• Previous banking and/or property management operations preferred.
• Call center and/or customer service experience.
• Basic understanding of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends.
• Well-developed analytical skills.
• Ability to research and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong PC skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
• Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Alarm monitoring and equipment maintenance, with documentation of interactions.
• Coordinate response with internal or external agencies to protect customers, personnel and assets.
• Place security service calls and dispatch vendors as needed.
• Incident response using Enterprise Notification System and document resolutions clearly.
• Operate various computer systems and software packages.
• Adapt to changes or problems during daily activities and use problem-solving skills.
• Assist with miscellaneous tasks to protect people, property or assets.
