The primary purpose of an Administrator in Training (AIT) is to develop the knowledge, skills and ability to successfully become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and direct the day-to-day functions of a facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern long-term care facilities. The length of the program is dependent upon state regulations, past work experience and Administrator Preceptor evaluation(s).
