Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Savannah seeks an experienced Cert Inspect A&P for aerospace certification inspections. The role requires active A&P license, FAA DAR/DMIR/ODA certifications, and strong knowledge of inspection procedures and documentation.

Responsibilities include issuing FAA 8130-3 forms, ensuring airworthiness, and coordinating inspection workloads within Part 145 and ODA guidelines. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with seven years inspection experience on large/mid-size aircraft.
• A&P license (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) required.
• ASQ certificate preferred; IA/ODA related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform certification inspections to ensure airworthiness and proper documentation.
• Issue FAA 8130-3 forms in accordance with FAA/ODA requirements.
• Plan and perform certification inspections to type design requirements.
• Support IAR/ODA designee training and certification activities.
• Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 145 and FAA Repair Station manuals.
• Provide technical support to inspection personnel and coordinate workloads.
