Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah is seeking an RS Inspector A&P to ensure aircraft and components meet FAA quality and airworthiness standards. You will perform detailed inspections, review maintenance documentation, and coordinate with teams to return aircraft to service; mentor technicians on documentation and support FAA/CAA requirements.

Requires current FAA A&P certificate; 6 years aviation maintenance experience; strong documentation skills; first shift with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control inspections on aircraft/components to ensure airworthiness and compliance.
• Inspect aircraft, engines, and components; verify repairs meet FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements during maintenance or outfitting.
• Maintain accurate, legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
• Mentor technicians on proper documentation practices and support FAA/CAA requirements.
