Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking an Inspector A&P to perform aircraft inspections, review paperwork, and ensure airworthiness with complete documentation. Requires 6 years of aviation maintenance and an A&P license.

Role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and occasional confined spaces. Weekend days, full-time with up to 25% travel. Includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• A&P license required.
• 6 years aviation maintenance experience (avionics, electrical, and/or mechanical).
• Must understand and functionally apply repair station policies and procedures.
• Flight Safety Initials on large cabin aircraft is a plus.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work from heights (ladders, stands, lifts).
• Must be able to work in confined spaces occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control inspections on aircraft/components.
• Complete inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs to FAA approved data.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance.
• Keep accurate, neat and legible records of the work performed.
• Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure timely records.
• Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion.
• Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to flight.
• Mentor technicians on effective documentation.
• Communicate with management to identify work assignments and delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to inspection personnel in supporting FAA/CAA requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
