Job summary

City of Atlanta Careers is seeking an Airport Operations Representative I- Airside in Atlanta, GA. The role oversees airside and landside operations, enforces FAA regulations, and coordinates aircraft and passenger movement.

Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays is required. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Airport/Aviation Management or related field, plus ability to obtain ATL SIDA badge and CBP seal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Airport/Aviation Management or related field.
• Valid Georgia driver's license at time of employment.
• Ability to obtain ATL SIDA badge and CBP seal.
• FBI background check with no disqualifying crimes in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and coordinate aircraft in common-use areas.
• Inspect airfield areas for FAA compliance and safety.
• Assist in aircraft emergencies and hazmat incidents per Airport Emergency Plan.
• Coordinate passenger flow through security checkpoints.
• Enforce City codes, leases, and federal regulations.
• Prepare and distribute reports and maintain records.
