Job summary

City of Atlanta, GA seeks an Airport Operations Representative I- Airside to ensure safe, efficient airport operations across airside, landside, and regulatory functions. The role monitors aircraft and passenger movement, enforces security rules, and supports emergency response per FAA/airport procedures.

The position requires shift work, including weekends and holidays, and a Georgia driver’s license with FBI fingerprint check. Posting expires soon.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Airport/Aviation Management or closely related field; equivalent experience considered.
Experience with airport operations and regulatory requirements is preferred.
Ability to work shift schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Monitor, track, and coordinate aircraft movements in airside and landside areas.
Inspect runways, taxiways, ramps, and operating areas for FAA compliance and safety.
Assist in emergency response activities per Airport Emergency Plan and FAR Part 139.
Enforce security protocols and manage access control and CCTV operations.
Prepare reports, coordinate maintenance, and communicate with tenants and agencies.
