Job summary

City of Fresno Airports Department is seeking an Airports Systems Technician to respond to outages, troubleshoot, and restore service for critical airport controls including Baggage Handling System, energy management, and security systems.

The role involves monitoring, installing, maintaining, and repairing various controls and coordinate with ISD. Applicants must meet the requirements and be able to pass background checks and fingerprinting as part of the process.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience with mechanical/conveyor systems and related controls.
• Valid California driver's license required.
• Ability to pass CHRC and STA background checks.
• FAA 10-year employment history verification may apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to outages and troubleshoot BHS and related controls.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of airport systems.
• Coordinate with ISD to support security system hardware.
• Pass department interview and DOJ fingerprinting if selected.
