Job summary

ABM Industries in Wichita, KS is seeking an Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers requiring wheelchair assistance at the airport. Position offers multiple shifts and pay with tips.

Responsibilities include safely transporting passengers in wheelchairs, assisting with baggage, and coordinating with dispatchers while upholding security requirements. On-the-job training is provided and ABM encourages military veterans to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• Preferred: One (1) year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers.
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds.
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary.
• Complete thorough Incident Reports.
