Job summary

ABM Industries is hiring an Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) to support passengers needing wheelchair assistance at our aviation sites. This is a customer-service oriented role where tipping is customary and could boost earnings. Pay is $9.00 per hour plus tips.

Must be 18 or older, with no formal education required; on-the-job training is provided. Strong interpersonal skills and reliability are valued as you transport and assist passengers safely, coordinating with dispatchers

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• No experience required and on the job training provided.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers.
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their destination.
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate agents.
• Complete thorough Incident Reports.
