Job summary

Capital Region Airport Commission is seeking a Custodian III at Richmond International Airport. The role involves cleaning the terminal and facilities, supervising custodians in the supervisor's absence, and performing light maintenance as needed.

The position requires supervisory experience in custodial maintenance, a valid Virginia driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. It is a full-time, on-site role with various shift coverage including nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of supervisory experience in custodial maintenance of large buildings or facilities.
• Must possess a valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.

Responsibilities

• Collect and remove trash from the Airport Terminal and other Commission buildings.
• Maintain flooring, ceilings, walls, and furniture using cleaning equipment.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate Custodians in the absence of a supervisor.
• Respond to emergencies or other duties as assigned.
