Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year or more of supervisory experience preferred.
• Operations or airline experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Strong computer skills; Word, Excel, data entry.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations within the primary area over scheduling/staffing, budgeted hours, and overtime.
• Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
• Implement safety plan for station.
• Maintain Quality Assurance oversight for operational issues and provide corrective/preventative actions.
• Perform duties of subordinate employees when necessary.
• Participate in SMS and train/retrain personnel in airline procedures and company policies.
• Maintain good employee relations and address employee problems efficiently.
• Communicate with senior airline management and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public.
• Adhere to company policies and participate in achieving company objectives.
• Monitor employee activity and adjust as needed.
• Handle Off Schedule Operations when Manager is unavailable.
• Perform other duties as requested.
