Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is seeking Shuttle Drivers in Anchorage, AK. The role ensures safe, timely transport of airline crew between aircraft, airport facilities, and designated hotels, operating 15-passenger vans in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key duties include coordinating with dispatch, inspecting vehicles, managing luggage up to 70 lbs, and maintaining professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Alaska state driver’s license; must meet insurability standards.
• Able to lift and carry items up to 70 pounds.
• Able to obtain and maintain airport security clearance and ramp driving privileges.
• Must pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, and pre-employment drug screen as required for airport access.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 15-passenger vans on scheduled or on-call routes between the airport, hotels, and other authorized locations.
• Adjust pickup/drop-off timing in coordination with dispatch and flight schedule updates.
• Maintain communication with dispatch via radio or phone regarding assignments and routing.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after shifts; promptly report safety or mechanical issues.
• Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for service.
• Load and unload luggage, including items up to 70 pounds.
• Greet crew members professionally and assist with boarding as needed.
• Record trip details such as passenger counts, mileage, and times, using company logs.
