Job summary

Pegasus Aviation Services, an Akima company, is seeking a Transportation Dispatcher to organize and direct shuttle assignments for flight crews at Anchorage airport. This on-site role uses scheduling software, radios, and flight-tracking systems to keep ground transportation safe, timely, and efficient in a fast-paced environment.

You will work shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• US work authorization.
• 1+ year in dispatch, scheduling, or logistics coordination preferred.
• Background check, fingerprinting, and drug screening required.
• Proficient with radio systems, MS Office, and scheduling tools.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with accurate logging skills.
• Able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assign and monitor shuttle pickups and drop-offs for flight crews between aircraft, offices, and hotels.
• Use flight tracking displays and scheduling tools to plan driver assignments.
• Maintain real-time shuttle activity logs with timestamps and flight numbers.
• Communicate with drivers via two-way radios and provide timely updates.
• Adjust assignments due to schedule changes, staff availability, or weather impacts.
• Coordinate with station agents, crew, hotel staff, and internal teams.
• Alert supervisor to disruptions, equipment issues, or personnel concerns.
• Ensure compliance with airport regulations and company policies.
• Support operations during irregular operations or emergencies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
