Job summary

Denali Universal Services seeks a Security Officer at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, AK. You will protect people and assets, monitor facilities, and enforce client and company policies on a rotating schedule (1 week on / 1 week off) with 12-hour days and overtime potential.

Candidates must be 18+, with a GED or high school diploma, and able to obtain a SIDA badge. Prior security experience and a valid Alaska license or ability to obtain one are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED certificate.
• One year of security/public safety experience within past five years.
• Able to obtain SIDA badge upon hire.
• Alaska security license or ability to obtain.
• Reliable transportation to/from site, driver’s license preferred.
• Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Must pass background, drug screen, and fitness assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce safety procedures at the airport.
• Guard property against damage, theft and unauthorized entry.
• Monitor assigned areas and checkpoints, verify credentials.
• Issue/record ID badges as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents; assist with investigations.
