Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in Columbus, OH, to patrol airport areas and protect travelers, staff, and facilities. The role requires a valid driver’s license and strong customer service.

You will perform patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents, with duties including badge processing and reporting observations to leadership. This full-time position offers shift coverage 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM on multiple weekdays, along with on-site responsibilities and

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Access control and badge experience are preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, roadways, and the perimeter.
Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas and verify credentials; report unauthorized access.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events calmly and effectively; notify appropriate personnel.
Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs; communicate observations to site leadership.
