Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Airport Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA. The role focuses on protecting travelers and facilities, patrolling unarmed and monitoring access points with a strong emphasis on service and safety.

As part of a dynamic team, you will uphold policy, support emergency responses, and maintain professional communication with visitors and staff. A high school diploma is required, with background checks and drug screening conducted where required.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Ability to lift over 20 pounds preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and vendors while following location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly per established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of assigned areas and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, report concerns.
• Document observations and relay information to supervision and contacts.
