Qualifications

• Guard Card or license preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Background investigation required by federal/state/local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may be required
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities at an airport transportation location
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorize entry/exit to restricted areas per site procedures
• Respond to incidents and access-control concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, visitor records, and incident documentation as required by site policies
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, terminal areas, and perimeter locations to identify unauthorized access or unusual activity
