Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Airport Access Control in Costa Mesa, CA. You will monitor airport facilities, assist passengers and staff, and maintain safety and order.

Responsibilities include patrols of terminals, responding to incidents, and documenting activities. Requirements include 2+ years security experience, a high school diploma, background check, and ability to lift 20+ pounds. Drug screen and licensing may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport tenants by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear activity reports and handoff communications per site procedures.
