Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.25 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Fri 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM Sat 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Requirements:

1+ year's airport experience.

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following airport and government location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned airport areas, access points, terminal spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as applicable.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and required daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
