Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking an Airport Security Officer for a full-time role in Honolulu, HI. You will safeguard travelers and staff, monitor access points, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

This position offers a Thursday–Monday schedule with a pay rate of $25.25 per hour. Requirements include 1+ year airport experience, a valid driver’s license where required, English fluency, and the ability to pass background

Job Description

As an Airport Security Officer: Full-Time Thursday-Mondayin Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a dynamic government airport location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide courteous customer service and clear communication to travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements:

1+ year's airport experience.

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, terminals, and surrounding facilities in accordance with applicable procedures and site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport facilities, terminal areas, parking locations, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and promptly while maintaining professional interactions with the public and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
