Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Part-Time Airport Security Officer for weekend shifts. You will monitor airport areas, assist travelers, and deter security incidents while following government and site procedures. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following airport and government facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Requirements:

1+ year's airport experience.

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 18+ years of age

• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
