Job summary

Culmen International seeks an experienced Airport Screening Operations Manager to support TSA at Pease, IN. Lead daily passenger checkpoint and baggage screening, supervise STSOs, and optimize staffing while ensuring TSA compliance and strong throughput.

You will drive performance through data and direct frontline leadership to maintain security and service excellence. The role focuses on staffing, scheduling, incident response, and implementing TSA procedures, with emphasis on workforce

Qualifications

• Experience leading airport screening operations and supervising staff.
• Experience with passenger and baggage screening.
• Experience with TSA procedures and directives.
• Strong staffing, scheduling and manpower optimization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily passenger checkpoint and checked-baggage screening operations.
• Manage STSOs and other operational supervisors, ensuring coverage across shifts.
• Develop and adjust operational schedules based on passenger volumes, flight schedules and staffing.
• Monitor checkpoint wait times, passenger throughput, staffing utilization, and security effectiveness.
• Coordinate with TSA/FSD personnel and airport stakeholders on daily requirements.
• Lead the implementation of new or revised TSA screening procedures and directives.
• Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and workforce issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support incident response, irregular operations, and surge staffing.
• Develop frontline supervisors and reinforce accountability, security and service culture.
• Use operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
