Job summary

SSP America is seeking a Restaurant Manager in Indianapolis at one of the largest airport venues. The role leads front-of-house and kitchen operations, ensuring top food quality, safety, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

You will recruit and mentor a team, manage costs, and uphold company standards while coordinating with departments to drive guest satisfaction and profitability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or equivalent coursework preferred.
• 1+ years in restaurant/food service in a management/supervisory capacity.
• Full Service and/or Quick Service restaurant experience preferred; culinary background desirable.
• Food Handlers’ Card or equivalent safety certification.
• Proficient MS Office and POS systems; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Front of House and Kitchen activities; supervise and evaluate Team Members.
• Ensure food quality, adherence to recipes and portion control; food safety compliance.
• Optimize food and labor costs to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, train and develop the team; set daily goals and assign tasks.
• Maintain policies, sanitation standards and brand specifications.
• Maintain merchandising standards, inventory, and payroll-related tasks.
• Forecast sales and monitor performance via reports.
