Job summary

The Assistant General Manager for Runza, operated by Plum Market Foodservice at the Omaha Eppley Airfield, leads daily restaurant operations and guest service to uphold Runza standards. You’ll act as the GM’s right hand, ensuring continuity in the GM's absence and driving a positive, team-oriented environment.

You will oversee staffing, training, inventory, and safety compliance while supporting financial targets and delivering Simply Outstanding Service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or retail.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a team mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making.
• Familiarity with inventory and scheduling tools; food safety practices.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, guest service, staffing, and cleanliness.
• Lead shifts in GM's absence, ensuring service standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training Team Members.
• Coach Team Members and handle performance feedback and evaluations.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and waste reduction.
• Monitor food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety Compliance.
• Maintain uniforms and professional appearance per standards.
• Support labor management, sales tracking, and cost targets.
• Ensure cash handling, deposits, and payroll documentation are accurate.
