Responsibilities

• Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft and guide incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions.
• Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather.
• Safely drive and operate ground equipment (tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors) in congested areas.
• Operate baggage scanners and computers to route baggage to the correct destination.
