Job summary

County of Orange is seeking a Real Property Agent to support airport and county real estate operations, focusing on leases, licenses, and property contracts. This open recruitment will create an eligible list for current and future vacancies across the division.

The role requires four years of lease administration or related experience, a bachelor’s degree (or one year substituted), and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Certifications are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in lease administration, commercial property management, or data/revenue analysis related to airport properties or high-traffic venues.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, public administration, finance, economics, or related field may substitute for one year of experience.
• Preferred certifications (PMP, AAAE, CPM, real estate license) are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze leases, licenses, and contracts affecting airport property and concessions.
• Prepare, negotiate, administer, and enforce real estate agreements.
• Conduct financial and market analysis to support property management decisions.
• Maintain accurate records of leases, payments, and related documentation.
