Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is seeking a Passenger Service Agent to support airport operations. You will assist passengers with reservations, tickets, and baggage handling, ensuring smooth boarding and accurate documentation while maintaining security and service standards.

You will help with lost and found, airfreight processing, and post-departure procedures, contributing to efficient operations and customer satisfaction in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service or related field preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift and handle baggage up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to use relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Make reservations, issue tickets and itineraries, and compute fares for passengers.
• Handle baggage check-in, collect excess baggage charges, and provide general travel information.
• Assist passengers at boarding gates, including checking ticket validity and processing boarding procedures.
• Manage arrangements for passengers with reservations, standby travelers, and their luggage.
• Determine flight close-out times and complete necessary flight documentation for accuracy.
• Handle post-departure procedures, including invalidating tickets and finalizing reports.
• Conduct lost and found activities, tracing lost articles and returning items.
• Process claims for lost or damaged baggage and route larger claims as needed.
• Receive and process airfreight shipments, determine routing, compute rates, and prepare documentation.
• Maintain inventory records for airfreight shipments and ensure warehouse accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with site security protocols and report breaches.
