Job summary

Menzies Aviation is recruiting a part-time Customer Service Agent in the United States. You will check in passengers at the ticket counter and gates, verify documents, assign seats, provide gate information and assist with baggage while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires 18 USD per hour, open availability including weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training in Seattle may be required; a FBI background check and US Customs seal are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must be able to stand for long periods at check-in and gate areas.
• Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Intermediate computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with check-ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims and other issues.
• Interpret identification labels with baggage and cargo routing tags.
• Host self-service kiosks and verify documents prior to boarding.
• Ensure work areas are organized (check-in, lobby, gate, baggage).
• Maintain a positive attitude while assisting passengers.
• Ensure safe and secure airport operations.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs of cargo/baggage.
• Manual tasks include bending, stretching, pushing, and pulling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
