Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a Full Time Customer Service Agent at Rhode Island's T.F. Green International Airport. You will handle ticketing, check-in, boarding and passenger assistance while adhering to policies and regulations.

The role offers starting pay of $20.23 per hour, requires a high school diploma or GED, and may require FAA background checks and airport badges. Relocation expenses for interviews are the candidate's responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or international equivalent.
• Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations.
• Must fulfill FAA background checks for SIDA access if applicable.
• Must be able to secure airport badges if applicable.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Issue, reissue and refund passenger tickets.
• Book, ticket and confirm flight reservations.
• Rebook passengers on oversold flights and during irregular operations.
• Perform passenger check-in and seat assignment; rectify oversold seat assignments.
• Coordinate vouchers for hotel, meals and transportation; coordinate refuel and refresh.
• Perform passenger boarding and verify boarding passes.
• Operate gate reader/scanner and manage pre-boarding activities.
• Make boarding and departure announcements.
• Deliver domestic/international flight documents.
• Adhere to government regulations (DOT, FAA, TSA).
